Okay, the second Russell review is up. I'm expecting Olympian accolades after this mess. John, be on it.
Oh wow, I just stumbled upon your review of this one; and it brought forth laughter and memories. Several years ago, I was on a POTO role-playing message board, and a friend on that site created a character named Adeline who was supposed to be a modern-day descendant of Christine. After some months, we ended up discovering Russell's story collection on Amazon and laughed about the fact that one of them had that title and was about a daughter of Christine who went by that name. After reading your reviews, I'm quite glad that neither of us ended up buying it! (And yes, I'm quite sure that my friend isn't actually our esteemed Miss Russell going by a different name. Heh.)
