Man, Halloween is really a good time of year for Phantom-related goodies. I'm thinking about taking my reviews out of order just to look at something more awesomely Halloweeny and fun while the season is upon me.
Another great review! And I can't say I'm not joyous at seeing another one so soon considering the last agonizing hiatus. (Congrats on your nuptials!) I went ahead and read through it figuring that I'd never make the effort to go watch it, but your description of a silver-fox Englund is tempting me to do so, anyway. Darn it.
ReplyDeleteOh, speaking of Liam Neeson, there actually is a movie out there where he plays a character that I at least consider Phantomy - Darkman (1990). I wish I could recommend the movie as a Phantom spin-off, but there probably aren't enough similarities outside one character for it to qualify. It's worth checking out, though, if only for Neeson.
You know, I've heard about Darkman and never seen it - I'll have to give it a try when I have a minute. Thanks! :)
