The Ashe review is up, and man, I love being pleasantly surprised. Keep pleasantly surprising me, project! I loooove you.
The next review will hopefully follow soon, since it's a nice two-hour listening affair. Keep your eyes peeled (not really... that'd be disturbing).
The Phantom Project is Anne's ongoing attempt to read, view, listen to, or otherwise experience every version of the classic Gothic serial novel The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, and then review it in lurid detail for her own enjoyment. Hurray, the Pratchett review is up! Things are very busy and reviews and reading are accordingly slow, but I'm hoping to pick up the pace soon.

The long delay was because I was out on vacation and being a total slacker about work. Worse yet, upon my triumphal return, my next book turned out to be a dud. Alas. The Cusick writeup is about two paragraphs of not helpful, should anyone feel the need to see it.
However, the next book is the Pratchett. And that one is definitely valid. So on we go!

It's hard to work when it's hot. It's so much easier to whine. Nevertheless, the Yu/Cheung review is up, and I can move on to the Cusick, which looks like nothing so much as a novelization of the 1989 Friedman/Rydall film. And if THAT film didn't need to be immortalized in print, I don't know any one that does.
