The long delay was because I was out on vacation and being a total slacker about work.  Worse yet, upon my triumphal return, my next book turned out to be a dud.  Alas.  The Cusick writeup is about two paragraphs of not helpful, should anyone feel the need to see it.

However, the next book is the Pratchett.  And that one is definitely valid.  So on we go!
